MINISTERING TO THE HOMEBOUND
In keeping with the mission statement of St.Vincent’s Parish, we are committed to ministering to the homebound by visiting, talking to and praying with, and taking Eucharist to parishioners who cannot join us in liturgy. If any parishioner knows someone
who would benefit from this ministry, please contact
Fr. Rock at 215-438-2925 x218 <rrock1945@aol.com>
or Jim Weiss 215-848-4276 <weissj12@verizon.net>.
This would also include visits to parishioners who are recovering from illness, accidents or
surgery and temporarily cannot join the community for worship.
CHRISTIAN CONTEMPLATIVE PRAYER GROUP
Deepen your spiritual journey with simple attention to the present moment.
Join us in a place where we let God be God and transform us into divine union by joining a Christian Contemplative Prayer Group. Meets Sundays at 8:15, before Mass.

MY PLACE GERMANTOWN
My Place Germantown, a partner ministry to St. Vincent's, has finally opened
after more than three years of planing and negotiating various bureaucracies.
The wait was worth it. The beautiful and well-equipped facility - designed to provide a permanent home for twelve menfrom the neighborhood needing special resources - is in
the former convent building at 209 East Price Street.
24/7 professional staffing will assist
theresidents with many of their needs. Volunteers are sought to assist them as well,
and donations are always welcome. (More than one-hundred members of the parish have
contributed financially.) See more at thge MPG website.
