PETITIONS FOR THE FIFTH SUNDAY OF EASTER – MAY 10, 2020
ST VINCENT DE PAUL CHURCH

 We honor our mothers and women who show a mother’s love. May their
sacrifice and commitment sow faith and love in the hearts of the young.

 We lift up deacons and religious and others who serve Christ in parishes,
schools and wherever there is an opening—that they be filled with the Holy
Spirit.

 We pray for the dedicated people who provide essential services and
medical care. We stand with them acknowledging God’s grace working
through them.

 We lift up the unemployed and those laid off. May there be quick
resolution to technical glitches that delay vital payments.

 We lift up graduates. May their vision for the future be grounded in a faith that keeps their hearts untroubled.

 For all who have died, particularly our mothers: that God will welcome
them into the peace and joy of God’s presence forever.
