Christmas
God of love, may your Word, Jesus, be born anew in our hearts and in our world
this day.
O radiant light, shine on and through Pope Francis and all faith leaders. May they
be bearers of your Good News in their preaching and actions.
King of All Nations, rule in the hearts of our elected officials and all world leaders
that may bring relief to those who suffer the burdens of the pandemic.
God of Mercy, we lift up the poor, the refugees, the imprisoned, the oppressed.
May Jesus, who was born in poverty be with them, and may we reach out
compassionately and generously to their needs.
God of love, we pray for children who are neglected, abandoned, sick, or abused.
May your love touch and bless them and all children this Christmas.
O Emmanuel, God-with-us, make your comforting presence known to those who
have lost loved ones, especially Brother Al and Mary Ellen Graham. May all our
departed loved ones be held in your loving embrace.
